JoJo's has moved to new premises:
Thanks for your patience, it's taken us a bit longer than expected but once you have visited our new larger restuarant (now with a coffee shop as well), we're sure you will agree that it was worth the wait. JoJo's is now open at 2 Herne Bay Road, Tankerton, Whitstable, Kent CT5 2LQ.

Lunch: Wednesday to Sunday, Midday to 2.30pm (last booking).
Dinner: Tuesday to Saturday, 6.30pm to 9.00pm (last booking).

We've been looking forward to this for over a year, obviously we are a little bit nervous but we also cannot wait to serve all our regular (and new!) customers in our fantastic new restaurant.

The JoJo's Coffee Shop is now open:
The new JoJo's Coffee Shop is open Tuesday to Sunday (and on Bank Holiday Mondays so you can come and chill with us on your 'long weekend'), from 9am to 5pm.

We stock a wide range of coffees and teas, freshly squeezed fruit (and veg!) juices, quality fizzy soft drinks, home-made cakes, fresh home-made sandwiches, gorgeous quiches, crunchy salads and loads of other yummy stuff that we'll make as our mood suits us – you’ll just have to come in regularly and see what we're up to! It's a new venture for us so we are really excited and can't wait to serve you!

JoJo's stocks Frank ethical water:
In 2010 JoJo's has replaced our bottled water range with Frank ethical water. Frank was founded by Katie Alcott in 2005, after she visited India and contracted dysentery after drinking dirty water. Coming back to the UK she realised that by selling ethical bottled water she could use the profits to fund new clean water facilities for villages in need.

About JoJo's:
Intimate, atmospheric, fun and honest, JoJo's is open lunch times Wednesday to Sunday as well as evenings on Tuesday to Saturday. We serve freshly cooked food with a Mediterranean influence such as gorgeous Greek salads to grilled sardines with lemon and black pepper, mouth watering mutton and feta koftas, marinated olives and authentic chorizo. Check out our sample (and ever changing) menu. To finish off, we offer a selection fantastic cheeses and delicious home-made puddings.

All our meat is free range, our produce is locally sourced wherever possible and our fish, of course, comes only from sustainable stocks.

Freshly made coffees, teas, Fentimens 'real' fizzy drinks and a selection of chilled fruit and soft drinks are also available including Frank ethical bottled water. JoJo's doesn't yet have a licence for alcohol (you should see the paperwork), so please bring your own wine and beer (and fizzy pop) to enjoy whilst we cook for you. Corkage is just £2.00. Please don’t use Tesco as we will charge you £5.00 corkage – thank you. Our corkage charge covers the cost of providing glasses, washing up and recycling your empties. We reserve the right to apply this charge if you bring your own soft drinks as well as for alcohol.

Please leave your credit / debit cards at home, JoJo's only takes cash or cheques with a banker's card. After reading our reviews in the national and local press, you can understand why booking is highly recommended!

We can reserve you a table up to two weeks in advance - so please call us from 11am on 01227 274591. Sorry, we do not accept bookings by email.

JoJo's is a non-smoking restaurant.
