Dear all at JoJo’s
You very kindly squeezed us in on a busy Sunday lunchtime (yesterday), or so we thought. In fact what we got was the best table in the house, where we could see everything and everybody. There was a really lovely bustle and vibe going on. Staff couldn’t do enough to make us welcome. The food was to absolutely die for as was the superb wine.
Being newbies we really appreciated the advice about portion sizes etc although we still ordered too much! We are so looking forward to next time and I believe our daughter and her fiancé are coming next Sunday on our recommendation.
We are already looking forward to next time…

I just wanted to thank you for a lovely evening last week. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the evening and your restaurant truly lived up to it’s reputation.
It was wonderful to be served by staff who understands the art of being helpful without interrupting your evening. The food was absolutely fantastic and we enjoyed the style of the restaurant. It was a very special evening for us and you made it unforgettable.

We had a wonderful lunch yesterday (much thanks to the front of house chap who was excellent and extremely welcoming).
The serano ham, fish balls, calamari, cod goujons, cavalo nero were exceptionally good. I forgot to ask at the time (being local-ish) was who is your cheese supplier, as the gorgonzola(?) was amazing as was the other cheese in the one person cheese selection (which we all enjoyed).
Very much looking forward to our next visit.

Now this is going to sound very strange but I would like to leave a review before even eating. I have been planning a weekend away for my partners birthday and have always loved Whitstable… It’s a shame it’s been so long. What hasn’t changed is the selection of restaurants and dozens of places to eat, which makes it very difficult to choose. But…
After reading the honest, caring and passionate website. I’m sold!!!
Do not under estimate (like so many do) the power of these basic human traits. Even the apology following the change to hours / menu is to be commended, how many other restaurants would do the same?
So… I will see you on the 27th Sept (availability permitting) and I can only hope that the food is half as good as the spirit!
Good Luck and hopefully a smile is born from a frown!
