Hi everyone! We are going to re-open the restaurant on Wednesday 5th August 2020.

We are looking forward to getting back to feeding all you lovely people but due to having to comply with Covid 19 regulations there are some new guidelines for the safety of our staff and guests.

Please call us on 01227 274591 to book your table (as ever we do not take bookings by email, Facebook, fax etc).

Bookings are taken no more than 2 weeks in advance. We are open for bookings Wednesday to Saturday 12noon – 8pm and Sunday 12noon – 3pm.

Because of the extra cleaning we need to do at the end of each day guests will need to leave the restaurant by 10pm Wednesday to Saturday (this mandatory as per Government regulations) and by 5pm on Sundays.

Our maximum table size will be for 6 guests including any children – sorry but multiple tables for bigger groups will not be possible.

We will be asking for a deposit of £15 per guest payable at time of booking. This is fully refundable if you need to cancel as long as you give us more than 24 hours notice. Any less than 24 hour notice and your deposit is non refundable.

Obviously your deposit will be taken off your final bill.

We have had to introduce this policy due to the high number of no shows being reported.

You will need to wear a mask at all time unless you are seated at your table. This includes walking to and from your table and going to the toilet (this mandatory as per Government regulations).

On arrival please wait to be seated.

All guests will be required to use the hand sanitiser provided upon entry to the restaurant.

The tables and chairs have all been positioned for social distancing for your safety and ours so please do not move them.

Once seated all guests will be required to stay at the table unless they need to use the toilet. There will be a hand sanitiser in the hallway to the toilets and guests are requested to use this before and after using the facilities. Please ensure you wash your hands thoroughly for 20 seconds.

Rest assured the toilets will be sanitised at regular intervals as will all door handles and frames as well as the card machines and any other contact areas.

At the end of your meal we will ensure an unimpeded exit from the restaurant.

Unfortunately we will not be able to open the tapas bar or the counter in the restaurant due to social distancing so they will remain closed until further notice.

We will be providing a take away service so keep an eye on our website for menus and collection times.

It is obviously an unusual situation that we are all in at the moment and regular visitors to us will know that we like our guests to relax and enjoy themselves. As long as everyone follows these guidelines and shows consideration to our staff and fellow guests there is no reason why that cannot continue.

We understand that not everyone will be happy with our new policy and might not want to book however we have done it with the best interests of our staff and guests in mind and we want to return to normal as much as everyone else.
